Libby used to box and has three fights under her belt.

Her play, FIGHTER, about women boxers, and based on personal experience premiered at Stratford Circus, featuring BAFTA winner Cathy Tyson and a cast of genuine boxers. 

​

Libby is a Barbican Open Lab artist, working on a new solo show, UNDER THE BRIDGE, about online trolling.

​

Her credits as an actor include: BYSTANDERS at Edinburgh Festival with Cardboard Citizens, KINGS for Smoke and Oakum at New Diorama Theatre and dodgy Erica in EASTENDERS.

​

She was co-writer and performer on BBC Radio 4's Cardboard Citizens commission, EVERY PERSON WANDERING

Libby is currently studying Audio Storytelling for Radio & Podcast at UCL.

Her first audio feature, FIGHT FAIR, won the Charles Parker Prize 2024 and was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in August 2024. She was a finalist for The Whickers Podcast Pitch Award 2024.

Libby’s work has been described as “funny, frank and authentic” and she has developed a unique voice, creating socially vigorous work that interrogates stereotypes and empowers women.

Libby is best known for her acclaimed solo show MUVVAHOOD, a unique show that mixes verbatim, stand up and TED Talk to challenge society’s perception of single mothers. The Stage described MUVVAHOOD as full of “humour and heart…an excellent work”. MUVVAHOOD toured venues including Stratford Circus, Camden People’s Theatre, Park Theatre and the Pleasance.

As a result of her work challenging perceptions of single motherhood, Libby appeared as a regular guest panelist on BBC Radio London’s Simon Lederman show. She has also featured as a guest panellist on BBC Radio 5 Live and The Rev Richard Coles show. She has written for The Stage, the Evening Standard, Standard Issue, the Guardian and more. 

Libby is an actor, writer, theatre maker, producer, mother, fighter, audio maker and lover of Air Max 90's.

She trained at East 15 Acting School on the 3 year BA Acting course, graduating in 2000 and having her son shortly afterwards.
